1st working prototype of our Star TrEQ tube equalizer! 5 bands per channel, with variable Q and 12 selectable frequencies per band. The tone can be described as subtly colored. Real inductors on each band. Huge headroom due to the dual 150V (equals 300V single ended) power supply. Detented Pots + 12 pos rotary switches for frequency selection. Cinemag transformers, in and out.
This is not the final version, we will add a blend pot for parallel equalization capability per channel. Very happy with the results so far, will give it to local studios for any suggestions on final tweaks.
Waiting on the enclosure for the second prototype, with some front panel changes as well. Let’s get this baby launched!
